PLEIN AIR PAINTING
"BOOT CAMP"
Put on your hiking boots, experience the great outdoors of Colorado and
challenge yourself to push past your current level of painting.

Pagosa Springs, Colorado

This exciting 3 day workshop includes informative daily painting demonstrations and lectures. We will be concentrating on the fundamentals of composition, color, and values to create the continuity that makes a great painting. With so much beauty available in nature, attention will also be placed on evaluating the scene and learning how to simplify. It is important to decide what elements will support the main idea of the painting and what should be left out. The small class size of 10 students assures individual instruction and critique throughout the day.

Course requirements are a positive attitude, a sincere desire to get out there and take your work to the next level….. and of course a good sense of humor!!! Also, be assured strenous hiking will NOT be necessary to get to our easy locations. However, you must have your own transportaion.

Pagosa Springs is located in the beautiful mountains of Southwestern Colorado.

WORKSHOP DATES:
August 24th, 25th and 26th
9:00am to 4:00pm

COST: $375.
One half deposit required at sign-up with the balance due at beginning of class. Cancellation refunds will be issued if notification is provided 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the class. After this date refunds will only be provided if there is a waiting list. Non-refunded deposits may apply to future workshops.
